Exciting Changes for 2019-2020!

We have some big news at the studio and some changes to announce. Being that this year has been challenging with Annie's health, we've had a lot of time to reflect and think about the direction and the studio, and what is important to us.

We want to ensure that our programming is accessible to everyone, and make being part of Garden Street the best choice for the community.

New for the Sept season: FREE Musical Theatre Productions, and joining our shows, will be free to any student already taking a class with us, and only $40 per semester total for any child who is not enrolled in the studio. All are welcome.

We are passionate about the difference musical theater can make in a child's life and all the lessons that children learn and confidence they gain from participating in productions.

Our first production will be Frozen Jr, and we will start in Sept and produce the show in early Feb. We will have two casts, a Jr cast ages 6-9 and Sr cast ages 10 and up, we will also have a class designated for 4-6 year olds where they will put on a shorter version of the songs and scenes from Frozen. All rehearsals will be on Thursdays. We will produce multiple musicals throughout the school year. More info on show selections to come - but feel free to tell us what show you would love to do and we will keep in in mind for our Spring Production next year.

We will offer new pricing to all of our dance classes. Every age group and every style of dance will be the same price of only $99 per month, including Mommy and Me Classes. Hoboken Bollywood will be $65 per month.

We will hold a Ballet Recital with the Moscow Ballet on Dec 3rd at 7pm where our Ballet students ages 6 through teen will have the opportunity to perform with the Moscow Ballet in the Nutcracker. We have gone above being just the host studio for the Nutcracker, and it is now part of our Winter Ballet Recital.

The Spring 2020 Recital is already set for June 20, 2020 at the Margaret Williams Theatre in Jersey City.

For our Music Department we will continue to offer group music classes for children a bit too young to take formal private music instruction. Mini Musicians will continue in the Fall.

New in the Fall is the opportunity for committed music students to have group music classes for FREE every month, and record in the recording studio for FREE - as well as perform a special concert of the music they record.

We will offer options to all students to compete in singing, and dancing. The criteria to compete in singing is to take private voice lessons at Garden Street. Any child age 5 through 18 can compete at Access Broadway, and On Stage NY and be ajudicated by the top professionals in the industry.

Any dance student who would like to compete is only required to select one Ballet class to be on the competition team. Dancers must take 1 Ballet class, and then select any additional class they want to compete in. They are not forced to take multiple dance classes every week - they can choose to only compete in Ballet or as many classes they would like to compete it. They receive unlimited classes every week for only $250 per month.

As always, we offer an amazing Summer Camp options and we have many weeks left with spaces available. It's only $295 per week from 9am-4pm.

We also have Miss Joanna and Miss Pooja teaching dance classes all Summer long, as well as private music lessons running all summer with a performance at the end of August.
